God, the Guess campaign is of such high creative and production value, it may as well have been a film. Guess campaigns of the 80s-90s were unbelievably cinematic and simply, irresistibly gorgeous and the ultimate springboard for any models' career: That's Yasmeen, isn't it...???

When I look at the current Guess campaign-- I weep.

Everyone is gorgeous. Just gorgeous.

But there's something about the 80's...it's just not timeless. There are some glimpses of the beginnings of the more 90's style, which I have so much more love for...but yeah, 80's are hard for me.

You can tell fashion was moving faster than the general public was willing to accept, the ads are very 80s but most eds are already onto something else.

The layout of the articles is unreadable...and it probably took such effort to make those labyrinths of text.

So weird seeing Molly Ringwald all done up with black fishnets and mid-orgasm expression...
