the story is Helmut used to drive round with old chains in his car and then had this idea for an editorial

Me too, I had to check in my list of Vogues from my own collection to make sure I had it and I do. Sigh of relief! cos when I see all the scans I forgot how good this issue is Nadja is soooooooo out of this world and still remains one of my all time collectable model. Ellen Von Unwerth is magical when paired with Nadja, so was Demarchelier for another Vogue US I can think of....
