Oh, how I miss the good ol' days of American Vogue!
I can still vividly remember getting this issue back in 2008 and just thinking to myself how heavy and thick the issue was (and how bad Keira's hair looked on the cover). Many thanks for the wonderful flashback and memories, Scotty.
Eh I didn't really like this issue when it came out and I still don't see anything really special with it. When I saw these edits I remember thinking I'd see all of this before. Even the Meisel edit is uninspired.

The Steven Klein is to die for (even though Caroline’s spray tan might be considered offensively heavy and dark nowadays). I especially like the shot with the colourful Dior dresses.
