^^^ I used it on my hair. After shampooing, I'd massage a bit through my hair and rinse out. That was about a year and a half ago, so I can't recall if I also used conditioner (I think I may have), but I do remember I liked what it did to my hair. I'm pretty adventurous on playing with natural products, even in unsubstantiated ways (I'm speaking about cocoa butter as conditioner from experience! Too much, too much) because I always believe that, at worse, my skin would clear up or the product will rinse out within a couple of days, depending on how I apply it. But I'm read, also, that Aloe Vera is a good treatment for hair, so you can trust that besides my own experimentation. As for which brand, I'd just suggest anything as pure as possible. Maybe try going to your local health food store and asking there - the employees are usually very knowledgeable.
