The Velvet cover is not her best, her Vogue covers are much more interesting.

I thought this cover was interesting - very different from the collection of Ralph Lauren adverts - but I too have liked other covers much more than this one.

I am curious which covers you thought were among the better shots of her. Could you share with me, please?

I liked the 'Velvet' cover for the use of shadow across her face and eye - it was interesting.

'Underrated' in what regard? Time on the runway? Number of campaigns? The reason that I ask is that I recently read an article posted on another forum - referencing the highest paid models and the source of their wealth.

To be honest if it wasnt for her Ralph Lauren camapaign I dont think she'd be very popular in fashion, even though she does do a lot of runway shows.
I still think she's a beautiful girl.

I totally agree. Her face is amazing and classic. Although I don't understand why people mistaken her class for "boring".

^ I hate to say it but she is quite boring...I haven't seen other expressions in her face other than her boring blank stare. She is really beautiful and thats why I like her of course but she doesn't have much in her...

Her face doesnt adapt to every photo shoot. But loads of models have the same issue. Their faces are just not easily fitted into every scene. The good thing about Valentina though is that Ralph Lauren is where she fits best and RL has taken notice and put her in his campaigns since I dont know when. But its only a matter of time before she isnt asked to come back.

^^ Yeah, but Ralph has a long history of sticking with girls he likes way past what other designers would....Filippa, Lonneke, Jaquetta, Kim Nye (Ignore that- different situation there... ) but- some of them are still around in Polo-land after what- like 10 years!!? And I really believe Val is his ultra-special girl- Not like Kim, we can only pray...
