Valentino Mens S/S 2020 Paris

I liked it a lot! Relaxed... love the prints... very chic...

One of my favourite shows so far. Not a fan of the previous collections but this one very good ^_^.

Same here, I actually can't stand his menswear, but this looks really covetable. It won't land in any hall of fame, but it's seamless and defines. Now the logo shirt I can do without, as well as the Vuitton animated knitwear.

Not a fan of this. I feel like his menswear is very « retail oriented ». It’s like everything has to fill every category in a department store...
The logos, the chunky shoe....etc.
I want more of a fashion direction, not just good items for the shop floor.

I love his menswear, but this is probably one of my least favorite Valentino collections Some undeniably beautiful pieces, but overall is meh imo. The casting isn't working for me either.

Hide the tag, I would've assume it's Lucas Ossendrijver's Lanvin.

I like this collection but probably because it has some Dries touches to it. The fact that Dries shows his own collection the next day, and comparing them, it definitely makes me think Dries is a better designer than Pierpaolo.

In terms of menswear, prints are not his stronger suit, and it bothers me that he always amps them up to eleven every Spring/Summer collection. I found them downright ugly.

I don’t know if Dries is a better designer but he is very different in the fact that he has a very personal and distinctive touch on his clothes.
Valentino doesn’t really have a menswear identity but it has an aura and everything around the brand is about that. And that is very different from Dries.
Valentino is chasing a customer or responding to a commercial need. Dries just do clothes for his clients and along the way, he is pushing their taste and the way to style his clothes and to inspire them.

It’s weird, I see a lot of Vuitton by Kim Jones...The collection after the supreme one.

Wasn't expecting to like it but this is quite good. At least, it's very much my cup of tea, though not all the printed and logo stuff. Love the relaxed, oversized jackets, coats and shirts and the loose, tapered pants.
