The legendary Diana Vreeland once said, “Without emotion there is no beauty,” and we could not agree more. The meaning of both those words, however, continues to change dramatically and ever more quickly as everything about the modern world reprograms them with the speed of an over-zealous Tumblr feed.
Vamp is still young and growing. This spring issue, our third, has four covers with four stars that all embody contemporary beauty in its many facets. But despite the diversity we print, we have one clear statement of intent: “strong powerful women and strong powerful fashion”.

In today’s over-saturated media world, emotion sometimes comes in the simplest of packages and that is the main reason for delivering an even bolder issue this time, which itself has had a modern makeover.

This issue focuses on the strong statements of the creative minds that are changing our perception of femininity and womenswear. Take for instance Anthony Vaccarello, who is re-shaping the notion of sensuality in style, and whom we photographed in Paris with his muse Mica Arganaraz. Then there is the contemporary glamour Olivier Rousteing whose spring collection for Balmain glitters on the iconic American powerhouse beauty Hilary Rohda.
We are also featuring the women who have style beyond fashion, and allure that transcends the glossy pages and glowing screens of magazines and advertisements. They are beautiful whatever their ages, walks of life, shapes and sizes because of the power of their emotion. Rossy de Palma, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Jessica Miller, Ahn Duong, Bettina Santo Domingo, and many more besides, have been fuelling our imaginations and our real life worlds for years with their powerful spirits and we celebrate them here as they vamp it up.

So welcome to the new season, showcased on the women that know how to convey our message: fashion, fun, power and sex.

imo every cover is appealing but my favorite is Hilary's, check out those arms!!

Hilary's cover is everything! The pose, that athletic physique. It's just so perfect.

The rest of the covers aren't bad also. I think since it's inception, I've not loathed a Vamp cover ever. And the content is just as good.
