I really love this thread!! I'm so in love with "vampires" I love Anne Rice novels movies etc.. and sometimes I really wonder kinda clother Vampire would wear today!! I'd choose Jean Paul Gaultier, Dior Dolce&Gabbana Ysl!!
Would vampires exist today (and assuming their creator would have any taste), they would look like Angelina Jolie and Dita von Teese, and most definitely have their wardrobe.

i think the modern vampire would wear dark skinny jeans, with spiky stilettos, ruffle/romantic blouses and velvet military inspired blazers....the colors would remain in the color scheme they have adopted for centuries, black, rouge, navy (but never with black) creams and the like....and you would never catch one with a sick faux orange tan...they are of a smarter speices who embrace their pale skin...
I LOVE that McQueen collection, kiddo, it's spot on.
I imagine the modern vampire would have a closet full of Nina Ricci with a few of those sheer bias cut dresses from Galliano f/w 07 thrown in. The perfect wardrobe for skulking in a shadowy alleyway or lounging in a broken down mansion near the Seine.
I can picture a little L'Wren Scott s/s 2008 in the mix, actually; though her show references the Stones/Jagger (L'Wren's boyfriend, fiance or husband, ahem ) and hence appears more rock and roll than anything directly vampiric, it works: floor-dusting coats make a nice alternative to traditional capes, scarves hide bite marks (I know vampires are the ones *administering bites, but perhaps we can assume their victims bite back sometimes, especially in the throes of passion? )... Actually there are some traditional capes present, some in non-traditional colors (not-black)...
