I thought her top from the alexander Wang party was really interesting. Anyone know where it is from? Is it AW as well?

If you mean the top in post #2973, I think it might be by Proenza Schouler SS 10.
The top reminds me the Proenza Schouler SS10 skirt that Vanessa wore recently.

but somehow so awesome

there's something slightly subversive about it - and yet it looks so wonderful.

not liking the smoking but she looks good.much better in print than in real life.

I'm sure she pays a pretty penny for her "effortless" hair, to go along with her "effortless" style. I'm not a hater or anything. I'm actually a fan of her style, but I'm just saying it's pretty easy to look good at effortless when your casual wardrobe consists of Balenciaga and Givenchy!

that being said, Lindsay lohan and Jessica Simpson can't get it right despite their ginormous incomes

^ well they aren't exactly surrounded by taste and style.Vanessa is.lucky gal.

whew a long scan of this thread ...Vanessa is lovely but always has that hispter bored to death look on her face.she should try finger waves.

Having a Ball

I had never attended an actual grand cotillion until 2002, when I was invited by Danielle Steel, mother of Vanessa “Toto” Traina and Victoria Traina, to the New York Downtown Hospital Ball, known as the Infirmary Ball, to which the girls wore Oscar de la Renta.
