For what we have been getting from other magazines this is not bad.

Blown away by the power of this editorial! Easily the best celebrity profile we've seen in forever. Luigi & Iango at their best, and Cate's dedication to bringing this fashion fantasy to life is outstanding. It's really all I could want in an editorial! I didn't realise how much I missed their editorial work until now. Pure glamour, as always! Bravo!

And the Margiela coat is indeed to die for. Stuff made of dreams!

Absolutely stunning !!! I had no idea Vanity fair international editions would do the same thing as Vogue when sharing cover stories and materials.
This truly is the end of an era for magazines, isn't ?

I love this cover and story !!! FULL ON POWERFUL GLAMOUR.

Was someone like Madonna not available for these two? Too much sexuality for Blanchett

It seams that Madonna is available for anything these days, but the *MAIN* difference is Cate can pull up virtually the most provocative and daring clothes and still look classy & refined, while Madonna almost always looks desperate & vulgar.

The black and white shots are gorgeous. Either of those two closeups could have been the cover, tbh.
Overall, Cate Blanchett always looks cold, frozen, and lifeless to me. She's the master at empty glamour tho.

Cate looks amazing, she's one of the actresses who can pose as a model in the front of camera on any fashion mag.

Cate looks incredible in these shots. I’ve always thought she photographs like an absolute dream, always delivers.

These are fantastic. Cate is just the right person for this shoot. The only thing I hate is that "hands on boobs" (Armani?) dress. It's tacky and doesn't go with the sophisticated vibe of the rest of it.

I love cate Blanchett, but not Luigi & Iango, they are a bad copy of Steven meisel and even before Richard avendon, there is no soul in these photos (and it's not cate Blanchett's fault). Vanity Fair us under graydon carter would certainly have done justice to a diva like Cate, maybe shot by Annie leibovitz (I know, it will be repetitive but always better than what we see today)
