Vanity Fair May 2025 : Sebastian Stan by Norman Jean Roy

The lighting on the cover is so weird, and the grooming does nothing for him.

I love this man but I'm hoping the cover will look better in print because he looks a little yassified here.

I hope so! Her tenure there has been so mediocre. The cover seems to be done by AI.

But isn’t it rumored Will Welch would take over? I have my doubts he’d be better than Radhika…

The cover screams Leibovitz, but the editorial is quintessential Norman Jean.

Will Welch will be much much better compared to Radhika.
His GQ Style start with Brad Pitt shot by Ryan McGinley was quite good.
And some recent GQ covers have been decent.

hope not. I hate what GQ is delivering these days. Horrible covers - layout as well. a big no for Will at VF

Yea that harsh lighting on his face is so unflattering. It almost looks like someone just started learning dodge and burn in Photoshop.

I'm not a fan of the cover, but I LOVE the editorial!

Looking at the digital version of the UK edition, the main issue is 112 pages, and comes with the 96 page On Time watch supplement, which is fronted by Alicia Vikander.

The Vanities person is Ewan McGregor's daughter, Esther. Someone from Blink-182 talks about having cancer, the VF royal correspondent talks about having cancer.

In addition to the cover story, there appears to be the usual fold-out section with backstage photos from the Vanity Fair Oscars Party as part of a Chanel ad, plus the mystery of Barron Trump, a profile of Democrat Elissa Slotkin, an article on aviation sabotage, and a feature with WWE wrestler Roman Reigns / Joe Anoa'i.

Ruven Afanador photographs some alumni of Juillard, and the F1 Academy is about women drivers. The back page Proust Questionnaire is Bernadette Peters.

This issue feels like a hybrid version of Vanity Fair and GQ, which I don't mind, because I don't read men's magazines, so that type of content represents something different for me. Your mileage may vary.
