Those Marie Gray ads are really annoying:rolleyes: I always think St.John represents the spirit of California Couture and it is one of the brands that represent American style. (Forget about Ralph Lauren please)

What a great issue. It's unreal how back in the day magazines could produce such great visuals and written content at the same time.
I always feel weird when seeing these late 90's Avedon ads. They just seem so out of place considering the overall quality of his work. Color and more elaborate sets did him no favors.

I knew Avedon shot some of the iconic Versace ads during this period, but it's not until I started posting 90s/00s that I realized how much he was still working!
