Vera’s RTW has always worn its Muiccia-influences on its sleeve, and this is likely the most unabashed, fawning tribute (rip-off…?) to Miuccia: It’s very Prada A/W 1999/2000 with all the sheer panels and paillettes and Miu Miu 1998 with the sportswear and military components. But Vera is such a skilled dressmaker that it doesn’t resemble a cobbled, heavy-handed mess with her influences, unlike lessers like Altuzarra and Gurung with their influences.
