I think what separates Vera Wang from other bridal designers is her ability to include subtle details into very simple designs that transforms each look. It's very refreshing that she is able to translate her usual feminine design style into every day ready to wear that many young clients of her's are sure to be pleased; I'm sure Miss Wintour will be pleased. The jackets are my favorite pieces from the collection, especially the one with a broach tucked under the lapel.

It's lovely.. her pre-fall/spring and cruise collections seem much more solid than her ready-to-wear stuff imo, even if you can spot some clear references to recent collections by other designers, this still looks very Vera Wang.. which means it might also occasionally look a little too Banana Republic.. but I blame this on the shiny/office pieces :innocent:, gorgeous stuff anyway, especially the coats with the furry detailing and the pleated blue dress.

thanks for posting, leeroi!.

All right, I just cannot be objective when it comes to Vera. It's all so beautiful

there exist so many great pieces in this collection right alongside some of the hackneyed over used vera wang basics. she could have used just a bit of editing to make this just one strong statement than for throwing in the dresses we know she can do anyway.

also, vera would do better by just letting the rodarte girls have that patchwork idea.

No surprise, I love this. Besides those awful Rodarte/sequined dresses, lovely. That transparent slip-like layer at the bottom of the cocktail dresses seems especially fresh, and I keep scrolling back to the Klein-blue Lanvin-esque dress and the burgundy number with the furry trim.

I feel kind of bad only being able to say that much, but with Vera it's all about pure beauty... I'm not sure if I want her to ever add too much of an edge to her clothes.

it's what so many designers are doing these days, the dimension, fabrics, colors, sequins
but I love the second look on Anabela the coat is beautiful and the top is so wearable.

I'm a fan of the sequins  don't judge me.
The dress with the pink ribbon on the shoulder is so lovely too!
I love everything apart from the shiny/jewel toned dresses. Beautiful collection.

Love, love, love  Except for a few looks, these are definitely outfits I would love to wear ^_^ Thanks for posting :flower:

omg I love this T_T. Not all of it, but it's mostly a totally amazing collection!

I love the sequins too.. And i usually do not.. in love with the jackets and the dresses are just BEAUTIFUL

She does sequin in such an organic manner; it's never incredibly uniform if that makes any sense?

There are a few misses but for the most part, it's gorgeous, luxurious, and exquisitely detailed. Her juxtaposition of materials is impressive as always too.

also, vera would do better by just letting the rodarte girls have that patchwork idea.

Definately. I think everyone needs to drop the idea of gypping off Rodarte.

Otherwise this is a gorgeous collection, really beautiful. I even like the sequined pieces as they are almost subdued.
Second best pre-fall under Pringle.
