Great thread, I could never get sick of looking at Versace ads, they are so amazing and Fall 01 and Spring 02 are 2 of my favorites, so decadent and sexy!

Not an ad campaign, but a beautiful photograph of all the girls from this time in 1997/98 shot in Gianni Versace's apartment. I didnt know where else to post it. It seemed most relevant here.

Just saw this in the April 2007 issue of UK Harper's Bazaar, a new Versace perfume ad, it seems...

"To celebrate the exclusive worldwide launch of the new Versace fragrance, Donatella Versace will be making a personal appearance at Harrods on Thursday 22nd March, where she will be signing bottles purchased from the Perfumery, Ground Floor.
As previously reported, Versace is a floral, fresh and sparkling fragrance. Top notes of fresh dewdrops and icy hints of blackcurrant reveal a transparent radiance, before unveiling a sumptuous and floral heart exploding with light and vibrant flowers, finally enveloped by the silky softness of musk and warm, delicate Kashmir wood. The packaging captures a modern aesthetic whilst retaining the traditional symbols of Versace - the Medusa and Hellenic Greek ornament."

Sharon Ganish/Genish is still listed at www.silentmodels.com under 'Sharon'. It's a shame she never stuck around, I liked her look. It had a 'Versace' vibe about it, haughty and lucious all at the same time. I guess for general work, maybe she wasn't versatile enough.

I really Miss Amber Valetta doing Versace. She is THE original Versace models, so lux. My new boss looks like her lol.

Yeah Amber had a good run at Versace appearing in quite a few campaigns back to back.......but I felt it was time for a change.
After that Donatella seemed to favour actresses Halle, Demi etc,. I'm so pleased she has returned to using models again.
