Victoria Beckham Pre-Fall 2024 London

The one handle holding open bag styling trick is getting tiring and what is with those neck pieces in look 1 and 3, that would annoy the hell out of me.

Her collections were pretty decent. I don’t know why VB is losing revenue

Pre-Posh! I see a mixture between Phoebe´s Céline and vintage Céline pieces from the 70s/80s.

I have to come out: I’m now a Victoria Beckham customer…
I mean, it’s just good clothes. I’ve decided to see this for just what it is.

I’m not a fan of some of the very Phoebe for Celine references and I think that maybe VB should style her lookbooks herself but I see some great pieces, good tailoring and nice separates. And the pricing is honest.

Is Nicholas Kirkwood involved in the footwear department? Those dangerous heels (I’m up for the challenge) are really like an extreme version of his signature!

She is profitable since last year. I think that women are now willing to spend money on her clothes, now that the price point is on the contemporary lane.
She is neck and neck with Isabel Marant in terms of prices but with a much more clean and appealing look to me.

If only her imagery was coherent…

we accept you as you are. VB does seem to make really good basics at a competitive pricepoint. Her pencil dresses are a no brainer if you're a professional lady.

this collection is a big buffet of easy-to-wear demi-chic clothes. the cut on a few different items - like that white silk black lace dress - is a freaking mess. the dress is so promising but cut in like a lantern shape. stuff like this is why she can't pay bills tbh.

Is she really designing it? Like sketches?

She is the creative director. Not a Couturier lol. Of course she is not sketching it but the issue is not so much about that than her being strong in her POV and in what she is trying to say.
Miuccia doesn’t sketches but her work is her POV, her taste.

When I see VB on her website and even in stores, it really has something between Chloe and Stella McCartney. But when you watch the shows, It’s trying to be somewhere between Celine by Philo. She is too much under the influence of…

Some really nice pieces here, the collection speaks to me. It's not ground-breaking, but I don't think we expect and even want it to be as such.

I think her brand will do well now because, this is the affordable "Celine" and the one where there are more sizes
Ngl , I have jeans from VB and they are great , they are very similar to the Phoebe's 70s Chloe jeans from 2003 but with a more updated fit.

Jonathan Ross whom i hate, very rudely and pathetically asked her why don't you quit singing, well someone should ask why don't you quit fashion.

I have always liked her collections, against all expectations really, but this looks very generic and and unfocused. I'd say that most of this is already available at Zara, admittedly without the glamorous name tag
