Victoria Beckham To Design Shoes For Gina

Interesting.

Is it bad ...............that I wanted her album????

so do i stilletto but the idea of VB designing them is no good. they are either hit or miss... but i must admit super comfy ;)

Would be nice to see her design some shoes... it will not be some flats I think..

I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and just see how they turn out. (hey that rhymed! )

I feel that a lot of people here will hate them just because VB designed them- and not based on their own merits (or lack thereof)

but like you said Leyla-- Gina shoes are "hit or miss" some are cute, some just look cheap- only time will tell here

I agree with you stilletto girl.. I'll wait and see until they come out before I decide how they turned out. Although I am guilty of not having very high expectations for them lol

it will not be some flats I think..

Probably not. Probably in the CFM category.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

SG, Use your imagination. I'm sure you've heard the reference before.

Gina shoes are overpriced, tacky, and look like they cost about 3p.

I'll let others decide if this means Beckham is a good match.

sprigged,

i agree that most are tacky... or shall i say 2-3 designs in particular which are done season after season... dont have pictures at hand... but basically all the ones VB wears herself. otherwise, i must admit that Ginas flagship on sloane street has improved their display..

i see your point that all Gina designs are copied by the high street and the whole of the UK has probably seen an overload of crystal sandals but i have some and the quality would neevr compare.. i will add though that mine are black very classic with black crystals so the tackiness doesnt really show ;)

Sorry leyla, I didn't mean to offend! It is just personal taste...I like neo-victorian/rococo shoes, and most people would think :yuk: looking at something I love...but I like them still!

I walked by the Sloane st. location the other day, and I have to agree, the display was a positive suprise. I am sure yours are uber chic. ;)
