Some random photos from the wedding. How considerate of the Swedish Royal Family to allow cameras to capture the entire wedding celebrations.

The procession by barge captured my imagination, so regal and romantic. The Swedish Royal barge Vasaorden, Djurgården, is manned by sailors from the Swedish navy and used only on special occasions.

Princess Victoria's bouquet was lovely. The footmen carrying her train have such quaint costumes. And look at Queen Rania of Jordan, twittering no doubt. She looks lovely (as always) and I like her tiara.

Aww I loved the whole wedding, I watched the live broadcast and got all teary-eyed several times. But I still don't love her wedding dress, it's pretty but way to simple.

I do see your point. I believe that with such an elaborate tiara, the dress had to be simple in its design and this allowed for more floral design in the bouquet. Her hair jewelry, makeup and flowers were all in balance. Even the buckles on her shoes complemented her dress. One last thought, the bride wore the dress. How many times have we seen the dress wear the bride? Princess Victoria was glowing, everyone saw her beauty and joy. She was not overcome by a huge dress.

i actually dont think victorias dress was that simple at all, at least not if you compare it to other royal weddings. i'm so glad she wore a sleevless gown.

^^ Me too. We see too many young princesses to be marry in boring dresses with boring sleeves.

Her dress is very lovely, but the design or fabric doesn't look very ''rich'' to me.

I think it's nice that she went for this Swedish designer, but I still would have wanted to see her in something else...Her mother wore Dior in her wedding, I wish Vickan would have gone for something of that sort too.

Oh, wedding was so long, pretty thought.. I would wish that she would put some color or at least some jewellery. It was just whole white. But I guess her happy smile was totally amazing, she looked so happy that sometimes I even watch anything else
