According to Aftonbladet Victoria and Daniel will meet halfway to the altar. In Sweden bride and groom walks to the altar at the same time as an emphasize on their equal roles both parties play in the marriage. Crown Princess Victoria wanted to walk the aisle with her father and it became a controversy. Finally decision has been made and bride and groom will meet halfway to the altar. The king lead her to her husband-to-be. By this solution all parties reconciled.

I really dont get why the swedish media made such a big deal of this she just wanted her Dad to walk her down the aisle .

It's just scandinavian thing.. men and women's equality. if her dad walk with her, it would be like he would give her away, not that she would do her own decicions. Couples usually walk together to the aisle here. Or something like that. Like her solution! Two more days

Stephanie has never gone to any other royal events outside of Monaco so no surprise , But i was a little shocked at the no invitation to Caroline but with her marriage in crisis doubt she would have come .
