What is "defile"?
It means her walk or runway appearance (In French, défilé = runway show, défiler = to walk the runway. I guess same word is used in Russian too).

I got way more Google hits with "Viktoria Makhota", that's what the Belarussian pages I found said, so I went with that. But if Ford decided on Viktoryia, perhaps a mod could change the title? :flower:
I think it's always like this with names from different alphabet... translation will vary..

Ford Paris says Viktoria also.

Apologies for my previous post which was covering a question that i subsequently noticed had already been answered. I tried hard to delete the message but wasn't allowed to. Roll on regardless!

They were sure fast to sign her to Ford Europe.. Makes me wonder if we will see her in Paris even... But I hope they wait at least until next season.

Looks like they didn't follow your advice, Li Ya..

^ No. :judge: But I thought they wouldn't. And I guess she's not younger than the Prada exclusives for instance, but she looks so young and innocent.

She does look good on runway, though. I'm always torn in question of these youngsters. :ninja:

Can someone explain to me how someone as young as Viktoria can work Paris? I thought it was illegal to work there if you were not at least 16, and Viktoria is supposed to be 15. I think Camilla Finn also worked Paris before she was 16 and I'm sure there were other girls in the same situation. Either the rule in Paris is completely irrelevent or all the agencies are lying about how young their girls are. Or am I wrong that the rule even exists?

^ I think the rule only applies to weekends. If you're under 16 you can only work on weekdays. At least that's how the rule's being practised.

Vika reminds me of a little bird.
