the beauty ads from the 80's are particularly appealing to me...

that one ad from Lancome featuring isabella rosselini was taped to my dorm room wall in college...

my icon at the time...
along with katherine hepburn and marilyn monroe...
she seemed to embody them both...
smart and sexy at the same time...
the best way to be, imo...
...

the honest truth is that i lost interest in lancome when they dropped her contract...
