This last post has different versions. An issue from U.S. other from Turkey and another from Mexico (obviously)...
This editorial should be called "Twins". In first place, the plan was a funny sunny day with Claudia and her new "look-alike" colleague. But after a couple shoots, Claudia decided end it right there... She went to Peter Lindbergh and his assistant, they were asked by Claudia that Valeria was dismissed. Valeria was sent home by taxi-cab, the day after she recieved flowers from Peter Lindbergh and Harper's (apologies). The editorial only contains 1 picture with Valeria (in a way for justify her work that day) The other pictures with Valeria and Claudia together never were published. Instead Twins they tittled the editorial "lazy-day".

Before the magazine were released... Claudia came to Argentina, when she was interrogate in a press conference about Valeria she went balistic, she said: Valeria who??? I don't know any Valeria. She's a model? I never met her or work with.. I only know Ines Rivero from Argentina, she's a very good model and works a lot in Paris but I don't know who is Valeria...

Always makes me sad when I see these anecdotes. It seems like these top models learn nothing. Beauty is fleeting, transient and there is always another younger, fresher face waiting in the wings.

Look at the attitude of some of today's big stars. They think they're invincible, untouchable. Ten years from now, they'll be happy just to be given the chance to advertise some third-rate deodorant in a mail-order catalog.

I agree with you, Mai. It's Sad... I remember when Tyra talked about the hard time modelling because Naomi. They were together in Tyra's show. My opinion is: A big star should be more confident to allow the newbies make their first steps. It isn't nice to start a war against younger talents. I like the behaviour and good manners among the victoria's secret models.

I didn't know that, is very sad than Claudia never knew about Valeria?... Well, this is the life of a celebrity.

Found this interesting flip-thru of German Harper's Bazaar from 1967
