I'm an avid vintage shoe fan, and I often see shoes that resemble the shoes by high end designers in thrift shops, vintage stores and websites. And I'm sure there are lots of you out there that see it too, so post your comparisons!

Note: NOT KNOCKOFFS of designer shoes, ok? Vintage shoes that could have inspired current deisgns!

As a shoe designer - I can confirm we all buy vintage shoes to look at and be inspired by.

I even visit Northampton shoe museum because they have a library of lasts and shoes that designers can borrow.

I made a range of mens shoes from a second hand last I bought in an antiques fair, once. The seller was selling it as an objec d'art - I used it for its correct purpose!
