Viola Davis

Viola is an extremely talented actress. She was nominated for an Oscar in 2009 for her role in Doubt with Meryl Streep and Phillip Seymour Hoffman. In 2001, she won a Tony award for Best Actress in August Wilson's "King Hedley II." She's currently getting critical acclaim for her role in this year's "The Help."

I think she has wonderful style. She usually keeps it classic, but still has fun with different colors and accessories.

“I didn’t get my SAG card until I was 30. But that’s how it works. You keep putting your work out there, and at some point, if you’re fortunate, if you’re lucky, if you’re blessed, it morphs into something. One role has led to another until I’ve emerged as this. This!”

On whether the quality of parts offered to her changed after her Oscar nomination:
“If I’m honest, I would say no. The money changed. The visibility changed. The quality of the roles? No. I’ve been blessed to have been cast in some imaginative roles, but there’s generally a lack of opportunity for women of color in Hollywood.”

Viola Davis is a truly beautiful women. Honestly drop dead gorgeous. And to top it off she's an amazing actress. Her performance in The Help better earn her some nominations (or better yet winnings) this award season. She truly deserves the accolades. Plus I like Viola's honesty and realness which I've read (or seen) in interviews with her. Honesty which is visible in that Elle interview, she sure speaks the truth.
