I was so hopeful after the gorgeous Pre-Fall 14 collection, but every line since then has been a bit of a letdown. I think the futuristic Grecian styles are really pretty, even if some of the other themes in the collection are capital-M "Meh."

the dresses are beautiful, but the accessories / styling is horrid. it tries to be edgy, but it's not. esp. those harnesses / backpacks look terribly out of place

Such a messy collection. While there are some gorgeous pieces here, the collection as a whole just doesn't cut it. Some of the clothes are way to over-designed and most looks are over-styled too.

But I don't even know why they revived the brand. It's not making any justice to Madeleine Vionnet's History. I mean really if she sees this from where she is, I guess she's rolling in her tomb.

I was hopeful with her but it seems like she's pushing to much and the essence of Vionnet has been overshadowed by the styling and horrible direction she's forcing to go to.

There's some effort at design here but unfortunately, it's honestly rather "off", as if the designer doesn't "get" it, eg. harness over a conventionally "pretty" dress, sci-fi 3asfour meets M&S.
