How were you initially discovered and was modeling always your dream growing up?

Vittoria Cerretti (VC:( I competed in the Italian Elite Model Look in 2012 which was a fantastic experience. Being a model has always been my biggest dream!

Where do you hail from and are models a big deal in your culture?

VC: I come from Brescia, Italy!

What was your first major modeling break that was the game-changer in your career?

VC: My first major break was walking as an exclusive for Dolce & Gabbana at the Fall/Winter 2014 collections and then of course being selected to appear in the Dolce & Gabbana F/W 2014 campaign alongside supermodels Bianca Balti and Claudia Schiffer!

Which key industry figure would you most like to collaborate with and why?

VC: I’d love to collaborate with Givenchy and designer Riccardo Tisci, it’s my favorite brand.

What are the most important attributes required for success in modeling?

VC: Most importantly you have to have a passion for the job, perseverance in the face of difficulties, the ability to adapt to everything, and self-confidence.

What is your definition of a “Model as Muse”, and which model are you most inspired by?

VC: I think a model becomes a Muse when she stands out for her natural style, for her charm, and her charisma, innate dote that lasts for a long time. An example of a Muse for me is Mariacarla Boscono.

Describe your street style in three words and what is your most treasured wardrobe item?

VC: Sporty, elegant, and classic. The most treasured wardrobe item would be good pair of high heel shoes!

Of the four major fashion capitals, which city best encapsulates your fashion aesthetic and how?

VC: I haven’t been to New York yet, but I think Paris is the one that best represents the concept of fashion and Milano too!

What is the coolest thing that a fan has done for you?

VC: A young fan asked her mom to approach me one Friday evening this Summer while I was hanging out with friends, to ask for a photo with me.

What is the most challenging aspect of modeling as a profession?

VC: Having to stay away from home and my friends for a long periods.

Which do you prefer runway or print modeling, and why?

VC: I prefer runway because the adrenaline before exiting backstage is the most spectacular feeling.

When I’m walking down the runway, I’m thinking...

VC: Don’t laugh, don’t laugh Vittoria!

What was the most memorable part of your Crash editorial shoot?

VC: All of the beautiful clothes and the fantastic team at Crash.

When my modeling days are over, I want to remembered as the girl who...

VC: I want to be remembered by those who know me for my professionalism and at the same for the desire I have to joke and to bring a positive energy.
