After a 7 year break and taking time off to have 3 children, Vivien Solari returns to the scene in 2013 with a bang, her first shoot back was for Vogue Paris by Mert and Marcus. It's a homecoming of sorts as Mert and Marcus photographed her just as they were taking off in the early 00's.

Born on the Caribbean island of Aruba, brought up in Manchester and educated at Leicester University, Vivien Solari’s illustrious modelling career began when she was spotted at 19, studying in her first year for a degree in Psychology. Within a few months she worked with Italian Vogue and had a lucrative fragrance campaign with Versace causing her to put her studies on hold. “I had a bump on my nose and thought models had to be perfect,” she remembers. Ironically, this minor imperfection along with her “blank canvas beauty” has since become her trademark.
