Vogue Adria April 2024 : Paloma Elsesser by Davit Giorgadze

She looks pretty. Of course Paloma isn't the classic editorial girl, but depends of the photographer/stylist she can pull it. In that cover her face looks soft and femme.

I don't get why this was made for VI (and looks like it was meant to be their cover story), and the actual one is that Bruce Weber mets Grey Gardens 1999 cover that is worse by far.

This body positivity movement is the death of modelling. It allows mediocre people who are short, average looking to have the same opportunities as beautiful models who are tall and graceful. Paloma is the epitome of laziness, there is not one editorial of hers that I really like. She is the opposite of grace but at least she gives us hope we can pull the model look. Even worse than Lila Moss

I said Paloma is a model because of body positivity not Lila. And until now (except for nepos) I haven’t seen a thin supermodel who is as mediocre at her job as Paloma. Paloma is an industry supermodel sadly, and not only I but many other fashion fans expect her to actually know how to do her job properly. It’s unfair to other models who work way harder and don’t get the same gigs.
Let’s all become doctors and lawyers now because it needs to be inclusive and not everyone has the brains for it.
