Ivete is probably Brazil's biggest powerhouse, the most loved and famous singer in the country.

It's worth noticing that this is Vogue Brazil's 500th edition - so a celebration.

The first cover looks gorgeous yet kitschy and playful. Nice art direction as well.
2nd Cover looks generic. Belongs as part of a beauty edit in Vogue Japan.

In the future we'll probably be looking back at these times when sequins weren't banned under a recycling law.

Love the first simple yet playful and I love her music too.

First one is decent. But I agree with @Benn98, the second cover does look like a Vogue Japan Beauty cover.

However, what do I expect from this edition? The fact that they decided to use a font already ditched by Vogue Paris, Vogue Australia, and Vogue Thailand years ago, for an anniversary issue already says a lot about their creativity.

You could have given me a supermodel cover with Caroline T, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Isabeli Fontana, Raquel Zimmerman shot by Luigi and Iango and it would have been the cover of my dreams . . . I don’t think this is bad it just doesn’t have much impact.

Got it yesterday and it’s terrible as last issues - the Ivete Sangalo main article by Xuxa its just as short as the eic letter- and when I saw it I was like: what in the world? I dont understand why they do that- Ivete in a huge profile is All we need. More 2 eds- one boring to death and olher only with Fendi looks (because they need to pay All the Business flights to Europe months ago and a also boring article with Silvia Fendi as part of the delivery pack hahahaa) SHAME

Now THAT would've been a reason for celebration.

I had zero clue as to who Ivete Sangalo was until a quick Google search, but an established Brazilian singer on the cover of Vogue Brazil's 500th issue sounds like a good idea to me. The first cover is pretty fabulous, my favourite out the two - love those reds.

Are the fabulous Caroline Ribiero covers from the same issue?
