Vogue Brazil August 2023 : Gisele Bündchen by Lufré

I feel like I’ve seen every one of these photos before.

Bad pics and the interview its even worst… just clichês about food, clean body and energy… she is obsessed about “to be pure”, a bored rich person

I’ll just buy because I love Gisele, but it’s a very boring issue AGAIN. The other editorials are pure trash AGAIN.

Each photo looks like it was taken by a different photographer.

Gisele didn’t seem to like the cover because that was the last shot in her Instagram carousel, lol.

The main editorial is quite nice. I love bombshell Gisele and will always do. There’s a certain W magazine circa 2003 which I quite appreciate too. Body looking athletic as usual.

It's not necessarily that... Instagram now when they detect letters ,logos, etc on the images sometimes "thinks" it's advertising, and if so they don't expose much the post which affects on views,likes,etc....so it's a common practice now for personalities and some media to put the cover between the photo gallery or even as the last picture...

I like it because it's Gisele and she delivers...my faves are the black and white ones...the styling on some pictures are questionable but she can pull it off mostly...

The editorial is much better than the cover. They could have chosen any of the photos from the photoshoot, and it would have been better than this. Still, always happy to see Gisele in Vogue.

The second shot, the shot in the gown and the shot with the black and brown fur are fabulous…
But it’s Gisele being Gisele…

I though a supermodel was supposed to be a chameleon. Now, they all have their brands or aesthetic and sticking to it.

‘So either we have « Mother-Earth Gisele » or « Bombshell » Gisele.

The last time her was challenged was when she did the Balenciaga punk collection 12 years ago.

Seeing her work lately makes me miss shoots on location and story telling because those white backgrounds starts to all look the same now…

Her editorial with Meisel for British Vogue was very good and she is great on location too... but you are right with almost everyone one with notable exceptions of course....all is about personal branding and all that BS....

I can only really think about 3 Chameleons : Guinevere, Karen Elson and Liya Kebede. They don’t appear that much but when they do, it’s about the story and not « them ».

Even Gisele campaigns are about her branding…From her Chanel N5 to her Latest Louis Vuitton campaign…

I would love for her to do Loewe for example!

She did Loewe...fw17...

Their agents built her career as a brand...i remember in the late 90's early 00's her name featured at magazine's covers when new models didn't get that at the time....but that doesn't dismissed her skills,i think sometimes teams are too excited to work with her that rely all on her instead of trying to propose a new or fresh angle...anyway at this point she did almost everything....

See completely forgot about that one. But that was great!
I think with some household names, they can be everywhere and be everything. And she is still a great model. I have great pleasure to see her work compared to Naomi and Kate for example…

Totally! i agree on that too....

Hmm... that's interesting. I never thought about a supermodel being someone who necessarily has to be a chameleon. Sometimes I view it more like those old fashioned movie stars. Bette Davis was always Bette Davis, Clark Gable was always Clark Gable, etc. You knew what to expect, but that didn't diminish their "stardom."

I love the Gisele's edit, she looks gorgerous on evry photo. The style of this feature it's a tribute of Vogue Italia by Meisel from late 90's & early 2000's.
