Vogue Brazil February 2016 : Jourdan Dunn by Zee Nunes

I'm usually the last to praise Jourdan Dunn but I am, genuinely, surprised at how much I admire both of those covers. The lighting on the two covers is lovely, I love the styling and I certainly don't mind the sight of an afro (something totally different, at least!). The afro is most definitely the element which makes both covers so unique!

this. i agree.

Maybe if the hair was bigger? Her physique already look so petite, this small hair doesn't help. The shots are nice and coverworthy, love the colours, but with a wee bit more attitude it would have been perfection.

VB manages to make bad covers even with Gisele. I'm quite impressed. The cover with the yellow dress is very good (the other one, completely unnecessary, why two covers?). Jourdan looks beautiful and really owns it, her eyes say she's a woman in complete control. (The layout though... always a mess.)

Of course the sight of an afro has some members here turned off

Jourdan looks beautiful on both covers

why two covers?

Not sure what's the thinking behind this double cover trend, which they've been running for some time now. If one was a close-up beauty shot, and the other a fashion one (like Gisele's last covers), I wouldn't mind.

i actually don't like the burberry cover :( that dress isn't for her! prefer the other one.

I haven't actually left an opinion  I love the covers! They feel fresh and she looks so strong on them. The afro is always a win for me, i wish it was used more!

Was there a need for a second cover? The first one looks so great, especially with the water in the background.

I swear Dunn gets more beautiful with every passing year. She is very commanding on both of these covers  And for those dissing the hairstyle, to me that is what makes these work!

The second cover is so unnecessary. They should have been more decisive and go with just the first one, it's great. I love an afro.
Please make multi covers stoooooooop! It drives me nuts.

I wish even more magazines etc would let go of their "phobia" of natural black hairstyles and feature models with them in great way like Vogue Brazil has done here.

I like the cover with the yellow dress, her attitude is perfect. Maybe the lighting is not indeed, but it looks good.

Gorgeous covers, she looks stunning. My only problem with the hair is it's not a good wig. They could have chosen a better quality.

Both covers are forgettable, catalogue-trope.

But Jourdan looks beyond stunning with the Pam Grier hair/wig. I hope that she’s able to keep this dynamite look for other work.

She's lovely on both covers, although I prefer the first one.
Her afro is beautiful! If it "distracts" you, you should ask yourself why.
Natural black hair is ancient, and beautiful.
