Vogue Brazil June/July 2024 : Zaya Guarani by MAR+VIN

A good photo, in a way it reminded me of Lila Moss first cover for Vogue UK by Meisel... But I think it's so funny how people in general in Brazil don't care about fashion, even though I follow it I didn't know who this girl was. For example: Raquel Zimmermann nowadays is almost a complete unknown, even though she is Brazilian and one of the greatest models in the country's history.

about raquel zimmermann: all the magazines try her and fail simply because she is not willing/interested in national publications. they try every single month and the answer is always the same: no

Love the second cover

But Raquel was never famous in brasil. Isabeli Fontana for example is a true celebrity here but not Raquel.

When Raquel peaked at #1 on MDC, there were many articles, TV shows, interviews and other things about her, calling her "the next Gisele".

And why is that? that she is not willing/interested?...it will be interesting to understand....

I think maybe bad experiences, i really don’t know

She shouldn't even remember that she's Brazilian, she doesn't care about anything here...

there has been a story for years about how she was treated before she was the recognized model that she is. It seems that all the national media denied it or didn't bet on it - which they did after she emerged internationally. And they say that's why she hasn't been interested in any publications for years, simply because she doesn't feel comfortable. Elle wanted her together with the models in the last issue, for example, and they also approached her several times for a cover alone and nothing...

I saw the digital edition and it's completely forgettable. Maya Mazzafera's photos are published with a text written by herself (I didn't understand anything...).

Worse? a wedding supplement takes over half the magazine - what do I want to know about marriage????

Writing content: again, ZERO.

This happens every single year since 2013. Daniela Falcão tried so many times in her Vogue days

That's sad...and also too bad for still keeping resentful for that....she prove her value to everyone....i dont remember her last appearance at any Brazilian media...
