They truly don't try these days, do they ??? They put a girl with no makeup, they don't even bother to blow her hair, just put her in a chair with basic styling and basic posing and they throw this on a page and call it a COVER ???? No wonder the industry is in this state, the people in charge of making us dream already left the boat ahahha and the ones remaining on it are interns.
- Where are the graphic designers ???
- Where are the people in charge of creating stunning covers / layouts / who have experience with magazine designs???
- Where are the Carine Roitfeld / Angelica Cheung / Franca Sozzani / Fabien Baron and the others ???
Nowadays we see covers with either nothing like her or things that shouldn't be on covers (Vogue Philippines Oct 23 anyone???...).
What I don't get though, truly honestly is HOW IS THIS VIABLE from the buissness side if NO ONE BUYS THESE MAGAZINES ???
- Gen Z just copy/paste on Instagram what they like
- People just dance and show off their bodies on Tiktok talking about these models or magazines without buying them
- Millennials who used to buy and collect lots and lots of magazines don't see their taste or generation reflected inside and outside of these mags therefore buy less and less
- Vogue all over the world has decreased in popularity and in ads and in number of issues and pages
so :
What is all done for ???
- Vogue doesn't want to emote anything anymore ?
- Vogue doesn't want to even ''try'' ?
- Vogue just wants to be ''WOKE'' no matter what the consequences or losing sales or subscribers ?
- Vogue's CEO isn't interested in continuing Vogue in print and will focus on doing publicity stunts for social media and will only like to use advertisers on social media?
Because when I see covers like these I can't shake the feeling and can't stop wondering why isn't Vogue doing prestigious GLAMOROUS full on high end covers like it used to do 15 years ago? Why they don't want to create and innovate like Franca and Carine or Angelica used to do in their own times and with their own editions. Anna will be Anna forever, she won't budge an inch and will produce the same Vogue over and over and over until she dies.

ESTILO EM EQUILÍBRIO- style in balance, which balance? all I feel is laziness and an escape from what I can call reality. the formula of this magazine and whoever is behind it administering the title is a reflection of the lack of direction.
this cover is uninspiring to say the least byt I’m happy for her and editorial looks better than the cover!
