The first cover is very weird…

None of them works.
The first one is silly, it looks like an outtake.
The second one is too busy:
- the logo's color is not working,
- the light is way too harsh,
- the painting and the model doesn't work together
- the pose doesn't show off the outfit at its best advantage
- the makeup doesn't help to make the model looks better
etc.

Seen better but also seen worse. Not impressed with the photography here whatsoever, and the attempt to create something unique with the composition of the cover flopped hard. The colours of the first cover are nice, love the texture of that Chanel piece but it's an unfortunate-looking and feels like a total mishap.

I don't think even an Old Master painting in the background could have distracted from how frumpy that Chanel piece really looks in front of it.
