Vogue Czechoslovakia December 2024 : Rosie Huntington-Whiteley by Kulesza + Pik & Yilan Hua by Luka Booth

It's a beautiful photo, but kind amateurish... As much as Rosie is a beautiful woman, I think her beauty is very plasticized (in both sense).

I like Rosie, I like closeups (even as profiles), but something is just missing here. Not sure what.

Rosie’s cover should’ve been a tad less zoomed in (it does remind me a lot of another recent editorial with her), and Yilian’s one without that bird/ dove prop.
both would’ve been so much better! they’re goodish though.
bring the eds.

These covers are not light at all. Both of them wearing black and looking serious wtf.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley all day, every day. We don't see her enough on the cover of fashion magazines, IMO. It's just an added bonus that Vogue Czechoslovakia and team have managed to profile Rosie so well - always helps. The cover is fantastic, usually hate this type of profile cover shot but it's all working for me here...

Rosie always looks plastic and cold to me. None of these images change my mind.

I can't recall Rosie Huntington-Whiteley ever doing a bad editorial, but there's something robotic about her beauty, as if she turns up every now and again in a fashion mag as a boost for all the contracts her name is attached to, but mentally, she left modelling behind a long time ago.

It would be a nice life, to still be in demand, and to work when you want to, could anyone blame her? I can't recall her being anything other than professional, but you get the same impression from Miranda Kerr, that it's all about the dollar signs.

In contrast, that Yilan Hua cover shoot, that's the sort of content I would love to see produced by UK Bazaar.

I like both covers.
Pretty easy, and well executed. They did their job.
Yilan's cover is more interesting, but Rosie's cover will push on the newsstand.
So, they achieved the right balance.
