Vogue España June 2016 : Edita Vilkeviciute by Benny Horne

Simply beautiful and very easily a strong contender for the best June covers this year. Cannot believed they've managed to class it up to Porter territory! And I certainly doubt whether Vogue Paris will be able to top this.
Love this recent upgrade of their covers. Is Yolanda still at Spanish Vogue?

Hate how bussy it is... And Edita again... Boring. The layout is an eyesore.

This cover lacks any type of impact or strength... It's not a fashion image, just your average hollidays picture. Also, the lighting is off... Everything blends together, Edita doesn't pop, she blends with the bussy (int terms of colors) background.

And those kind of necklaces are so passé... Hate the belt over the swimsuit too... Too old-fashioned. Was Belén Antolín the stylist? She's that cheap...

Nothing spectacular. Still, it's a nice summer cover. I just wish she was zoomed a bit more, there's too much place above her head.

Well I could've predict this cover by seeing Edita's name. I wish they had challenge themselves with this cover.

It had all the elements of a stellar cover. The setting, the model... I get the carefree vibe and the theme they were trying to go at, but it could have been executed better. But nonetheless, this made me excited for summer, so thanks to that.

Yikes! Is it me or she looks like Frida G here.

Whoa, they have been killing it this year! Another stunning cover, and i love seeing Edita, always! A must buy for me, once again!

I was wondering where she has been! Not as many campaigns and covers lately, so i like this! She really is the ideal summer cover-girl.

Nice but forgettable. And not sure about Edita's expression, she looks lifeless.

She looks more like an athlete than a top model. Where's the glamour?

It's a great cover, I have never ever seen Edita take a bad picture. I always get excited to see her.

No, she doesn't. And even if she did, it would be a positive image for a magazine to have.

Vogue Spain or Lui can have Edita every month if they want, she's wonderful, she has a traditionally female body and sensuality that's rare in fashion.. belonging more to the 1970s. Whenever I've shown Edita to my straight male friends/partner, they all searched for more , everyone loves Edita..

Cover is fine, I like the more intimate type of lighting, I love how these Australian photographers that grew up with sun all year round capture light so quietly and naturally.. they don't go nuts with the brightness or altering colors..
