I hate to say this but I kinda like it. There's just something so mesmerizing about her pose and face.

Indeed, Mona it's great model and her talent makes this a better image. But this screams Italia (even isn't the aesthetic I relate to VI, even now). It's very safe but far from what this magazine was once. Imaan's realy exudes France. This cover not.

The cover looks super captivating. People on social media deem it as a boring cover, but I don't see it being like that at all.
The text placement, even how they kerned Mona's name, looks super designed and clean. I also love that it's
somewhat monochromatic, making it easy to the eye. I'm excited to see the rest of the photos from her cover story.

Not feeling this at all. The new layout is a mess. Fonts are too small, not really impactful. Cover shot isn't that great either (and I really like her). Maybe a zoomed in shot would've worked. I really miss those times when we'd have 5 or more pages with discussion around the cover of Vogue Paris (RIP). We'd have more pages when it comes to editorial and stuff. No one really cares whatsoever and it's so depressing.

I miss it too and I also really miss the times the main editorial had more than 5 pages...

I like Mona a lot, I even like this cover and the first outtake looks nice too. But is it enough to make this magazine happen? I guess not, there isn't much to discuss about it when you've got two lovely but oh-so-random pictures and you know almost everything else will be reprints of editorials that don't even deserve to be printed at all.

Strangely I like it, I would have preferred Chanel though consider it is a Karl Lagerfeld issue after all. But there is something about it that makes me forgive the strange fashion choices. Maybe its because its Mona, but I don't know haha.
