Vogue France May 2023 : Mona Tougaard by Théo de Gueltzl

It makes me want to have a nap. I don't think this month's Harper's Bazaar France cover is ah-mah-zing or particularly special, but where it does succeed is that it piques my curiosity. If I saw it on the newsstand I would definitely pick up that magazine, to at least flick through, over this drab cover.

Not a wildly memorable cover, but I don’t mind the image. I do wish it was a little more “fun” or dynamic but then I’d probably be complaining about it being gimmicky!

Just unfortunate the content will be mostly reprints

That editorial is an odd mix of images where, in some, she looks effortlessly elegant, interspersed with moments where she looks like an awkward, lanky teen. The third shot in the series, I wonder whether I would have loved that as the cover.

This editorial gives me the vibes that will be reprinted everywhere... nice but has that potential.

it’s a nice editorial, I wish it was all the same vibe.
the shot with the black dress is absolutely gorgeous!

This, sat on the shelf alongside Bella Hadid’s Vogue Italia, looked absolutely shocking and bland and beige beyond belief. What a soulless and utterly lifeless cover, with zero pizzazz.
