At this rate, never. It's really funny (sad) to me how it ended up as the runt of the litter (of European Vogues) basically. I remember even a decade ago it was generally decent. When will Vogue Deutschland ever get its glow-up?
according to vogue.de she is indeedPhoto 5: is she wearing Dior already?
Have you seen the inside contents? Also, maybe they are not closing because the magazine is selling in Germany?Apart from the outfit on the cover shot, which I would be glad to wear myself, there's basically and literally nothing to get thrilled about when it comes (down) to this issue. Another waste of paper, another non-attempt to not even try, doomed from day one to fall into fast oblivion. I may feel like a stuttering parrot tonight but why don't they close this mag or make it full digital rather than digging some shameful grave to what was once a decent glossy? That's not even a parody of a tragedy.
I have no idea of the true circulation or ad numbers, but Vogue is the only German fashion magazine that seems worth buying. Elle, Bazaar, and the other local magazines (aside from sometimes Madame) seem quite dated due to their tacky art direction and stories.Have you seen the inside contents? I know you're talking about now but for me 032C was for a good few years the coolest German mag. They used to put out amazing content consistently and secured such great collaborators. They were the first to snatch a long interview with Meisel around 2008 I remember and continued to be good throughout the 2010s until covid. So many good covers and editorials. I'm sad I don't even think of them that much now since Marc Goehring left.I have no idea of the true circulation or ad numbers, but Vogue is the only German fashion magazine that seems worth buying.
