I'm not so impressed by the covers (they are good images but not appropriate portraits for the newsstand), however the editorial previews look classy. Tonne made all the clothes look stellar and the set design is quite endearing - very Meisel circa US Vogue with the original post-supermodel story in 2004. And of course Karen still looks fantastic after all this time.

I came back to look at this.

The first covershot is worth coming back to (… and Karen seems to be slowly morphing into Grace Coddington as she ages). And that’s something that can’t be said of so many Vogue covers in a long long long time.

And for once in such a long time, the coverline lives up to the image: It absolutely makes me feel good. Just genuine effervescence radianting from this gorgeous woman.
