Just for some context, Vogue Greece is published as a Sunday supplement with/by one of the country's most right-wing leaning newspapers. Maybe that played some part in this bizarre decision.

You could be correct here, the EIC Elis Kiss hasn’t posted the issue on her instagram (previously she had made a post the day of or after each cover reveal) and no one else involved in the shoot has posted about it.
