Vogue Hommes International Fall / Winter 13.14 : Alain Fabien Delon Jr by David Sims

Vogue Hommes International is celebrating the magic and mystery of the dynasty. On the cover for Fall/Winter 2013-2014 photographed by David Sims is Alain Fabien Delon Jr, the youngest son of one of the silver screen's coolest customers, Alain Delon, star of Plein Soleil- the French version of The Talented Mr Ripley. In this Fall's issue are the cream of the male modelling crop as captured by Sølve Sundsbø, the fashion sensations of the season and all the best accessories, skateboarding champions Steve and Alex Olson shot by Mario Sorrenti, a gripping conversation between French actor Gérard Depardieu and the son of French film director Maurice Pialat, bankrupt model heir Clément Chabernaud and, to top it all off, an exclusive and completely candid interview with Joan Collins, the glamorous and super-sharp icon of the television series Dynasty.

He sooo looks like his father it's insane. I really like this crop close-up shot actually, the pose isn't so creative though, lots of men's magazines use this, it's a very safe approach. However I like the lighting, the fonts, the colors used here, it's a nice combo. Also the theme "Dynastie" reminds me this 80's very famous TV show that was so successful in France back in the day. I also like the eyes here, they make you want to look for more and to actually buy the magazine, which, obviously, is the main goal. So congrats on this cover. The previous one was fantastic and so is this one.

He looks like his father, minus the charisma and appeal...

Is that braces that I can spot?

Not particularly happy to see him on the cover as he seems particularly insufferable (cf: all the itw he gave to the French press, trashing his father, then apologizing, then gave another itw to say he was in love with his girlfriend etc etc).

Used to like Alain Delon SR but since he's an homophobic I will just pass this issue. The previous one with Jarrod Scott is much better

The cover is very "classic", the editorial previews are promising. I was hoping that they will change the headline typeface from this issue, but it's seems I have to wait for the next season.

Hopefully minus the homophobia/racism/senile idiocy as well.
Alain Delon Sr. is one helluva d**chewad.

Well, I just meant in terms of his looks.

Fantastic cover and the edits look very promising!
