Norah Jones on a big magazine cover? So, so overdue! Anyway, a nice image but a weird cover.

Norah Jones?? LOL. Vogue India is only about, what, 18/20 years too late. Does it mean we'll see Katie Melua on covers soon? Could never tell her and Norah apart. Musically or otherwise.
At least Priya knew Mon and a whole lot of others would go ????????? She had the common sense to break it down literally with that coverline.

I like the actual image. Very nostalgic in a way. It should have been shot in one of those vintage blue trains to counter out the white look, white masthead. And the 'Hope' font is too thin, but otherwise a halfway decent cover for Vogue India.

My memory of Norah Jones dates back to my teenage years, which means I would never expect her to cover Vogue in my 30s. Time flies!

Is she big in India?

Not sure if she's necessary big, but she's half Indian herself which I don't think many people know. Her father is Ravi Shankar, a very famous and respected musician.

I like the shot itself - it's like the start of a story, where you see someone at the window for a fleeting moment and have no idea what's going on in this woman's life.

If you told me the theme was "seasonal melancholy" I'd be thinking Vogue India had produced one of the slightly better September covers.

But nothing about this cover says "hope".
