leggy_e11e should post the entire ed here,
there are more images in Karlie's thread but it would be easier if she posts them here + I want to see Eden and Paul!

what is this s***? fashion is supposed to be glamorous and make you feel fab. the clothes on the cover and in the ed are completely boring.

that's not just fashion, it's photography and art as well and that is what I love about Vogue Italia

^ And it's refreshing to see an ed with a great story!

He's captured the simple living and the wholesomeness of the amish people amazingly, it's best he did it with new girls because they don't have much personality/fame, apart from Karlie. Still amazing though, and very fresh, but any of these images would have been a better choice for the cover compared to the one they chose, which now seems plain in comparison.

he should have put all models on the cover, I can clearly see it in front of me all with those gorgeous girls

I'd love to see the whole ed together (and in thumbnails lol....dailup here :( ). I'm loving this so much

Maybe when we get all the pics/thumbnails, a mod could edit them all into the one post?

^Yeeey. this Solve's first Vogue Italia collabo right?

the Amish editorial looks so cute, can't wait to see it in person

what is this s***? fashion is supposed to be glamorous and make you feel fab. the clothes on the cover and in the ed are completely boring.

ok for "fashion is supposed (...) make you feel fab." but glamourous.... it's your opinion....
don't say it's s***....
personnaly i like this....
why is it boring to you? because it's not your style, right?

but you know fashion editorials is not supposed to propose only ONE and UNIQUE glamourous styling (or it would be bored to death).... it's supposed to interpret different style and trends, propose you story for you to imagine yourself in different ways....

not all the stylists have the same style, moreover....

personnaly my style really does NOT represent what I like in fashion editorials.... i can like from glamour to this kind of things or more punk and DIY.... and my style is very very casual....

IMHO this editorial is one of the best this season in the way the stylist interprets the flower, tartan and nature trends.... the casting for this story is perfect.... and the photos are very good....
other people did it very hippie or just studio shoot....

this one is good and it also reminds me this movie i watched not that long ago.... it was called in french "Le Village" : a community (close to amish i guess) who lived near a forest and was scared of mysterious things living in the forest...... i don't wanna say the end if you wanna see the movie but honestly..... the movie is a real thriller from start to end, and the end is a HUGE surprise....
seeing this editorial now makes me think of this movie for sure....

and it reminds us too that some people live differently and are still happy, though....far away from all our consummerism.... putting this in a fashion magazine is very ironic...
I doubt Meisel wanted to go that far.... but that's how I see it....

oh and it also means what you underlined.... you can still look "boring amish style" but be fabulous.... because it's Fashion!
(i'm sure this last sentence could kill all my blabla)
