Ashamed to admit that I forgot I treated myself to a copy of this sometime late last year, until I just came across the scan of the cover earlier. I was lucky enough to stumble across a copy online for an incredibly reasonable price and could not resist.

This is such a good issue! I believe this is the first and only VI cover of Kate Moss by Steven Meisel.

Everything is absolutely gorgeous. Meisel’s “Cool Nomads” is wonderful.

It’s amazing, though - you really can sense that there is no chemistry between Moss and Meisel. It’s no wonder they worked so little together.

I don’t know why Kate looks so dead in front of Meisel. Her edits with Teller & Roversi are millions times better
