The Armani campaign is so supreme, so aggressive and so not modern day Armani LOL Aldo’s imagery for Armani is usually so gentle, soft and B&W. ...But this is so vibrant, so graphic, so sharp and so assertive. I wished Armani would return to this aesthetic for his women and his men… The wispy, velvety and drape-y silhouette he’s still doing now seems so dated, while this from 40 years ago looks so fresh and so alive. In my dreams, I can just imagine Tom Ford reinterpreting this 80s-Armani for when he takes over the house….
