Vogue Korea September 2008 : Chanel Iman

Chanel is looking good, also like the supplement cover

yay, i'm glad chanel got her own individual vogue cover--and a decent and respectable one at that!

decent eds, but i'm tired of reprints!

I don't mind reprints if they also have other original editorials (which they do). Not everyone goes online to see editorials from other countries, nor do all the magazines have the resources to get top photographers like Meisel, Sims, etc. So, why not include reprints from like Vogue Italia, US etc. I'm sure those magazines are a lot more expensive than say a Vogue Korea in Korea.

Well said. Not everyone who buys Vogue in their own country are fashion fanatics like us :p. Besides, it gives more exposure to the model anyway.

Hmmm... I don't like reprints too
Actually, Vogue Korea's financial leeway is not abundant because of a license magazine by Doosan BU. So they can not made a lot of their editorial
I hope you understand

Love Chanel but I dont like the cover very much, the ed is better but not my favorite of hers, want to see the rest of the eds though!

Chanel looks amazing! I wish the photographer would have been a little bit more original though.

She looks great in the eds,but I think the supplement cover is better than Chanel's.

Really nice cover, and text.
Chanel looks great in her ed, although it reminds me of Vogue Italia July issue

i don't understand why people are usually so mean to Chanel. The girl has been there pretty long before all the 'diversity' hype started and she was the only one to represent the idea. and after Jourdan and co got the leading roles (is it because of the right management or just being in the right place the right time?) what does Chanel gets?... that does suck. as for the cover i think it's refreshing for all Vogues and much more interesting to look at than, say, US or UK editions. which is amazing considering it's Korean edition (not the most influential edition of the magazine at all). the more i am amused with the typography which looks like the most challenging among all the Vogue publications. and last, but not least. i like how VK manages to really reflect the idea of diversity presenting all types of beauty, from Scandinavian Freja to Chanel to Daul. That's what it's all about, creating an amazing mix of ethnicity, celebrating female beauty of all types, not just forcing it to be an Asian, Caucasian or Black limited editions.

Thank you for the scans Leigh H :flower:

Would you mind telling me who the fashion editor/stylist is for Full Moon Rising?
Just stunning... I love this
