Vogue Mexico April 2021 : Demi Lovato by Art Streiber

Oh God, NO!
It's a terrible cover. Styling, that smile, the hair...plus she looks like someone who's in the same age bracket as Dianne Wiest. Love Dianne Wiest btw. This could be a Good Housekeeping cover and we'd be none the wiser.

Good on Vogue Mexico for getting this though, the timing couldn't be more perfect considering the recent revelations. But maybe they should've done something more serious - studio setting, dimmed lighting, black styling. Just to drill home the importance of her story/this exclusive.

You've messed up, Karla!

Must admit that I did get a chuckle out of the cover once the thread loaded... so at the very least, the outcome is good for something! This is all sorts of basic, pedestrian and generic. Unbelievable to think this is the same magazine who gave us Chris Colls last month.

What’s up with the lighting?
What’s up with the shadows in her face?
What’s up with her smile?
What’s up with her hair?
What’s up with the styling?
What’s up with the pose?

Oh no no no no no....... no....
I understand it, the cover is about hope and smiling again. Great sentiments. Just... the execution... the styling.... The photography.
Yikes.
It's really bad imo. Was hoping for more.

Joey Jay.

Ha!!

I'll just echo everyone by saying that this had no business being on the cover of Vogue. Especially on the cover of a Vogue that usually produces quite decent work.
It's funny to me how she's on the cover here and then you have miss Gomez on another one, it just feels like 2009 all over again.

Was this a 15 minute photoshoot or something? Why is it so amateur? lol

She looks like someone’s crazy aunt...
my aunt literally lol.. and in that second picture she's about to tell you (and whoever listens) all about her divorce, her rebirth, how her new and extreme extra blond bob symbolizes how she's a new person, the pounds she lost to fit into these jeans she's had since 1982. And frankly.. that's probably Demi's interview, too.. :glare:

I'm dying at these comments lol. Spot on.

It's hard to single out just one bad thing about these covers but that outfit she's wearing on the second one is something else lmao. Peopleofwalmart exhibit a more "fashionable" style.
