Vogue Mexico June 2025 : Ester Expósito by Karla Lisker

i dont know what happened with this magazine...here and there they have a hit but it is mostly misses, especially after covid...the photo editor must be fired...i guess they have a cheap team and that's what you get...

I think I have a problem with their visual identity. Sometimes it's glam, sometimes it's indie, but it's very difficult to tell sometimes that all covers belong to the same magazine. I feel they have too many photographers instead of choosing a few to bring more cohesion to their covers.

I was expecting another summer issue photographed by Inez and Vinoodh :(

i have seen better covers but i do kind of like this one

That's the job to the HOC and creative director...even fashion director should be involved in what makes part of their visual identity...but as you said, all over the place, and bad...i think they have to change all the team.

Always Vogue Mexico with their awful covers. And that LA cover is slightly better, but still we are relegated to a second category version of the magazine. They need to remove Karla Martínez.

Agree with others who mention Vogue Mexico's lack of clear identity or point-of-view. They are so chaotic. I really don't know why so many Vogues are so bad when they have smart, fashionable editors in charge. Karla Martinez is so smart and chic. (So is Bea Valdes at Vogue Philippines, for example.) Yet they produce such mediocre magazines.

The cover with Antonela Roccuzzo by Lucas Ricci appeals to me very much. It is just very joyful and beautiful. It is pleasant to the eyes. However, aside from two US Vogue reprints, there is not a single original fashion story inside.
