Who is this Michiel guy? he seems familiar. While I am happy Crista got another cover, her pose looks super awkward. It would have been better if she stood behind him or something, it looks like her leg is coming out of nowhere. Who approves of these covers, seriously?

Michiel (with Gisele) appears on Chanel No. 5 add and in Games of thrones.

It's a strong debut cover for Vogue Maar Netherlands... Oh wait this is the mother Vogue Netherlands...

Having said that, I am quite disappointed with it isn't he sense that it doesn't scream women's fashion. You cannot see what she's wearing! The maquillage is hard to appreciate on such angle. The hair is unflattering. I don't see any body except the arm and the awkward leg. For a magazine that's expected and is supposed to be promoting women's fashion, they failed to meet their mission.

Also, shouldn't the other leg be seen as well? For you to be able to pose like that, she has to be either standing on a something or both of her legs have to wrap around the man to be able to support her full weight... Something's just off with the pose.

On a brighter note, I'm happy that their layout is gearing towards a better direction. You can really see improvement and maturity with the magazine. I just hope they play with the text positioning because it's always the same

Love it, but then i have a major rush on Huisman, he really is being embraced by Fashion!

Pretty good but the cover looks like it would be more fitting for a men's magazine.

well..they're back to their boring covers again then. last month was SO good (we never got to see any content though? :( )

Precisely! What's the use of booking Christa if you only see her head, leg and arm? This is not a cover image. Looking forward to the review.

thats a GQ Men Cover not a Vogue.:(
Crista looks like an appendix - how bad:doh:

I think it´s a terrible cover. Is she a backpack?! what is that pose?
The worse is that Crista´s styling seems really nice (but Michiel´s isn´t) and you can´t even properly see hers :(

Crista is one of my favorite models as of late and I am a fan of Michiel, but together I am not feeling this cover. It's very, very awkward.

I love it. I don't know who he is but he's gorgeous. So much sex appeal. In fact, the cover has this raw sexuality that draws me in. I see some are not fans of the posing but for me, that's what makes it so good. Not your typical cover shot, which makes it all the better.

Hahaha, funny, but you're right though. That said, I can assure you if this was a GQ cover people would thrash it left right and centre. Poor Crista can never look good for Dutch Vogue. Her last cover for them showed her squatting ungracefully in a pair of knickers.

I don't like the fact that she's not looking at the camera but otherwise it's a pretty nice cover. I love couples on covers.

Michael Huisman is never a bad thing.

interesting, looks like a cut for the true blood poster that never really made it past the floor
